About Raquel — Homeopathy, Natural Medicine & Somatic Meditations.
I’m Raquel Dutra, a Certified Practical and Intuitive Homeopath and somatic practitioner with a deep love for listening to the body.
My path into healing began through movement. With a background in professional dance and somatic studies, I learned early on how breath, rhythm, sensation, and emotion speak through the body. This embodied way of listening continues to shape how I work today.
I’ve studied homeopathy in the United States, Europe, and beyond—beginning with the Academy of Practical Homeopathy during its first class with Joette Calabrese, and later graduating from the School of Intuitive Homeopathy with Angelica Lemke and Sarah Valentini and the Homeopathy Hive. I am continuing my advanced training through a Master Class with Colling Grifth on The Architecture of Healing, a Master Practitioner Mentorship Program in Homeopathy and Chinese Medicine with Hilary Dorrian at the Centre for Homeopathic Education in London. I’ve been deeply influenced by teachers after longer studiers and deeper understanding of their practice with Jill Turland, Rajan Sankaran, Alize Timmerman, Ton Jansen, Declan Hammond, Massimo Mangialavori and eremy Sheer.
As a mother of four, I share with my husband the life we’ve dreamed of—homeschooling our children and designing and building our home with care and intention, including a twelve-angled dance and movement studio where I hold my homeopathy clinic. Living in close relationship with the land in the Hudson Valley informs my passion for supporting other families in their health and well-being.
I support adults, children, and families through acute and chronic conditions. Alongside homeopathy, I offer Somatic Meditations that gently support the release of long-held patterns and pain.
Sessions are offered in person in Spencertown / Chatham, NY, and online via Zoom, in English and Portuguese.
