“A homoeopath will usually see a patient, on average, once every month or six weeks, with updates between if needed until the condition is eased or healed. More frequent appointments may be needed for those with more chronic complaints. Hahnemann stated that a disease state can be latent and may manifest at any point in one’s lifetime, as is often the case with the many chronic diseases that may come to affect us. The idea of using homoeopathy as a system of maintenance to avoid the worst effects of chronic disease appealed to Hahnemann and his followers right up to the present day.  For some people homoeopathy becomes a way of life. It becomes part of life’s journey during which remedies not only act curatively but are a means of discovering more and more of one’s potential.  Seeing a homoeopath regularly throughout your life helps to maintain and balance a healthy mind and body.

Despite the ridicule Homoeopathy has provoked among scientists in general and the medical establishment in particular, the sheer number of homoeopathic patients, practitioners, colleges and pharmacies around the world speaks volumes for the efficacy of a very gentle healing art. Because the medicines are rendered harmless by trituration and succussion it is safe even when there are curative reactions; usually in the form of elimination of waste or toxicity from one or other part of the body. It achieves its results not by suppression but by provoking the body’s own healing powers into action, an action temporarily suspended by the strength of the condition. Practitioners do not heal this or that disease; they prescribe remedies in order to remind the body of what it needs to do to heal.A homoeopath will usually see a patient, on average, once every month or six weeks, with updates between if needed until the condition is eased or healed. Awareness of the body

“ In the homeopathic conception of the human being, the physical body is considered as a part of the whole being. The physical body with all tis complicated operations such as metabolism, heart action, respiration, digestion, movement, vision, hearing, smell, taste, speech, thinking, etc., can only function if there is a higher energy (Hahnemann called it ‘vital energy’) that directs all this. As soon as this energy retires from the physical body, all its functions fall apart. If we want to live in harmony with these higher energies, e.r., with our Higher Self, it is important to respect our physical body as give it what it needs - love, care, good food, sound physical exertion, rest, sleep and relaxation. The conscious person is aware that he has to take care of his body; that his body is the expression of his energy, of his Self and that perturbations in his energy will sooner or later express themselves in the body’s language, what we commonly call symptoms or illness. If his body is ill, the wise person knows that the body is attempting to tell him something and that this is not just a simple matter of bacteria or viruses. In this way illness becomes an invitation to resolve an underlying problem, to work out what disturbs the harmony.

A healthy body will tell us exactly what we need, just as many wild animals know exactly what herb to eat to be in good health or to be cured whenever they fall sick. If a health body is in need of some vitamins, it will enhance our desire for a special food containing that special vitamin and when this desire is followed the special need will disappear again. In this way our body will always get the substances that are necessary to be in good condition.

People know that our food is deficient and take a lot of pills with vitamins and minerals, but most of the time these pills are artificial, having been produced synthetically. Big industries make us believe that these vitamins are exactly the same as in nature, that there is no difference. But these synthesized vitamins are not the same as the natural vitamins, and they lack all the accompanying enzymes, coenzymes and minerals that are necessary for the good assimilation and functioning of these vitamins. We really cannot copy what nature offers us so abundantly. We have to respect nature; nature is always right.

Terrain (Beauchamp) x Germ Theory (Pasteur)

“ Louis Pasteur is the famous French scientist who advances the germ theory, a world of bad guys out there trying to get and kill the good guys, which were victims. His whole idea was to kill all those bad guys before they hurt the victims.

What many people don’t realize is that Pasteur had a contemporary named Michael Beauchamp who argued ‘Au contraire!’ Beauchamp agreed that the bad guys were out there, but advanced the theory that the bad guys could only win if the protective defenses allowed them access to the victim. This has commonly been called the terrain theory. Beauchamp said sickness was all about terrain.

Terrain encompasses many things: hygiene, stress, immune response. The two scientists argued throughout their careers, but Pasteur was handsome, flamboyant and did better Good Morning America interviews. Besides, Pasteur’s germ theory was more acceptable because all of us would rather be victims. Beauchamp’s terrain idea meant the responsibility was ours to create an immunological terrain to keep the bag guys at bay.

Interestingly, on his deathbed, Pasteur rose on an elbow during a brief time of lucidity and moaned: ‘Beauchamp was right. It is all about the terrain.’ Then he fell back onto the bed and expired. It's one of the most famous recantations in all history. ”

Laws of Cure

“ Hahnemann had observed that as disease conditions develop, they become more and more deeply entrenched in the vital organs, from the outer tissues toward the internal and generally from below, upward. Cure must reverse this trend, so cure takes place from above, downwards, and from within, outwards. Symptoms disappear in the reverse order of their appearance. This applies whether you practice homeopathy, chiropractic or any other healing system.

Disease does not just happen, it’s a culmination of many things.

Aphorism 11

“ When man falls ill it is at first only this self-sustaining spirit-like vital force (vital principle) everywhere present in the organism which is untuned by the dynamic influence of the hostile disease agent.

It is only this vital force thus untuned which brings about in the organism the disagreeable sensations and abnormal functions that we call disease. Being invisible, and recognizable solely by its effects on the organism, it can express itself and reveal its untunement only by pathological manifestations in feeling and function (the only aspects of the organism accessible to the senses of the observer and the physician), i.e. disease symptoms.

- What is dynamic influence, dynamic force? We see that the earth causes the moon to revolve around it in twenty-eight days and a number of hours by some invisible mysterious force and that the moon in its turn produces in the ocean at regular intervals alternating tides of ebb and flow (with some variations at the full and the new moon). We see this and are amazed, because our senses do not realize how it happens. Obviously this is not produced by material means or by the mechanical contrivances of men. And we see about us a great many other events caused by the action of one substance upon another without being able to detect any visible sequence of cause and effect. Only a cultivated man accustomed to comparison and abstraction can intuitively form an idea of this phenomenon: upon reflection he sees it to be beyond material and mechanical influences. He terms it the dynamic, virtual action of forces, that which takes place by the absolute, specific, pure power that one force exerts upon another.

In the same way, the dynamic force with which pathogenetic influences act on healthy individuals and the dynamic force with which medicines act upon the vital principle to restore health are nothing but a contagion devoid of any material or mechanical act upon the vital principle to restore health are nothing but a contagion devoid of ay material or mechanical aspect. A magnet powerfully attracts a piece of iron or steel near it in a similar way: one sees tat the piece of iron is attracted by a pole of the magnet but does not see how this takes place. The invisible force of the magnet does not need any mechanical (material) means, such as a hook or lever; it attracts the iron a a steel needle by its own pure, nonmaterial, invisible, spirit-like force. We have been here a dynamic phenomenon.

Moreover, it invisibly (dynamically) transmits magnetic force to the steel needle, which in turn becomes magnetic even without being touched by the magnet, even at some distance, and is then able to transmit the same magnetic quality to other steel needles (dynamically).
